Timothy Fulton

Tim Fulton has worked at the Armory for numerous years, acting as webmaster for ArmoryTrack.com from 2004 through 2011. He now directs all timing and results operations, oversees the Armory season schedule, acts as meet director for all major high school invitationals and is the chief meet organizer for the NYRR Millrose Games. He previously coached high school and college track and field and cross country from 1996 to 2013 – winning a NY State XC title in 2004 and coaching over 25 All-American’s

Tom Healy

Tom Healy joined the Armory in September of 2006 after having worked with the Police Athletic League, which is located in the same facility as The Armory. Prior to the PAL, Tom was employed at his town’s recreation department as a program/event coordinator, overseeing youth sports programs and community events.

 

Zakia Haywood

Director of College Track & Field and Special Projects

Zakia is a lifelong runner with 20 years of experience in track & field and endurance sports. As a USATF-certified national-level official, high school cross country coach, and uber fan of the sport, Haywood joins The Armory Foundation after contributing to many facets of the organization. Most recently holding important roles at The Armory’s marquee track and field meet -- the Millrose Games, the CityTrack and Learning Labs programs, and officiating at hundreds of Armory track & field meets. 

Haywood, a mid-distance track runner while at Colgate University, earned a Masters in Public Administration from The College of New Rochelle. She now enjoys dabbling in the marathon and ultra-distances. 

 

Lex Mercado

Lex moved to New York City from Philadelphia to work at the Armory at the start of the 2015-16 season. Lex is the assistant director of timing and the assistant track and field meet manager for all Armory run events.

Before starting at the Armory, he worked for the MileSplit affiliate PennTrack XC from 2008-2015, starting as an Associate Webmaster before spending his last two years as the Webmaster. Lex coached for two seasons at Archbishop Carroll High School in Radnor, PA, and was an assistant coach at Penn Charter in Philadelphia.

Owen joined The Armory in August 2018 after graduating from Oberlin College. He is responsible for producing The Armory’s written material, including newsletters, press releases, and the annual yearbook.

A New York City native, Owen ran at The Armory throughout high school, before going on to compete for Oberlin’s cross country and track teams.

 

Carlos Perralon

IT Support Manager

Carlos grew up in Washington Heights and received a bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems at CUNY Lehman. He joined the Armory Foundation as an ambassador and started helping with the technology in the building.

During track season, he helps with the registration of members who used the track and provided both IT and AV support. He has been a part of the team since 2008.

Bassett W. A. Thompson

 Bassett Thompson began his career in track and field as a PSAL meet director, having earned a master level USATF official certification in 1996, before joining the Armory staff in 2008 as an assistant manager. In 2011 he became the Armory’s director of track and field.  Bassett also serves as the PSAL Commissioner of Cricket.

Matthew Pisciotta

Matt first started working at The Armory in November 2015 as a member of the timing staff, before officially joining the Armory team in December 2019. He has coordinated timing operations for many local youth and high school track & field meets for the past 10 years. Matt was first introduced to the Armory as a member of the track & field team at Fordham Prep that won three straight CHSAA titles from 2008-2010. 

Aviana Goode

Aviana is no stranger to The Armory or track & field. She started out competing here as a young runner anxious to know more about the sport, and she continued to race throughout middle school and high school, as well as during her collegiate years at Syracuse University. She even broke her high school’s 55m and 60m hurdle records on this very track back in 2016. Aviana joined The Armory Foundation in February 2023, working in graphic design, coaching, and digital media.

BRIAN HARNER

Brian began part time at the Armory mixing audio for the indoor season and developing in-house video procedures in 2013.  Today, Brian is the Director of Sight & Sound as well as Broadcast Producer for the Armory’s 100+ meet indoor seasons. Brian’s mission is to consistently improve the “Armory Experience” for the venue’s fans on site as well as those watching on their home televisions.

Brian has been involved in productions for various sports in multiple countries and is always on a pursuit to entertain as well as innovate in that space. When not in the production studio, you will most likely find Brian working on numerous home improvement projects.

Ifetayo Dudley is a Syracuse University graduate class of 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications & Rhetorical Studies. For Ife, the Armory is a second home and a full circle moment as she began running track here at the age of eight. From running here for the Harlem Children's Zone Summer Games to training here during High School to competing here at events like the Colgate Women's Games and Millrose Games years later the Armory is now her home again.

Erin Jaskot

Manager of Track and Events

Erin Jaskot is a New York native who ran for Tappan Zee High School, where her love for the sport blossomed at The Armory. She went on to compete for Villanova University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, before running for an additional four seasons and earning her MBA at Mount Saint Mary's University. Following her collegiate career, Erin coached at Tatnall High School in Delaware for four years, while also working full-time roles in marketing and administration. She continues to race competitively representing Bandit Running and is a running coach in the NYC community as well.
